Amazon FBA logistics has now become the mainstream choice for Amazon sellers, and there are three ways to ship to Amazon FBA warehouse in the United States.
1. International express delivery
Domestic sellers hand over the goods to international express companies such as UPS and DHL for transportation. UPS and other express companies will complete the customs clearance procedures. Generally, customs duties need to be prepaid (that is, the shipper prepays) because there is no real recipient in the Amazon warehouse. The time efficiency of express delivery to the warehouse is relatively fast. Express companies such as UPS and DHL can enter the Amazon warehouse without an appointment. Express items weighing 20kg or more can enjoy preferential prices and fast time efficiency, which is very suitable for merchants who need to replenish stocks urgently. Another advantage of international express delivery is that express delivery can be put into the warehouse without an appointment.
2. International air transport plus express delivery
The freight company collects a certain amount of goods, and the first leg air package flies to the city near the Amazon warehouse in the United States. The customs clearance is completed by the freight company's agent customs clearance company, and then it is delivered to the warehouse by the express company. This method is slightly worse than the first method in terms of time efficiency, but the advantage is that the freight rate is economical. Although the delivery time is slightly slower than direct express delivery, it can be put into the warehouse without appointment.
3. International Shipping (Sea Shipping + Truck Delivery)
The logistics company waits until the goods fill a container, and then the entire container of goods is shipped to the port near Amazon in the United States. It usually takes about 28 days to arrive in New York in the eastern United States and about 18 days to arrive in Los Angeles in the western United States. After the goods arrive in the United States, the customs clearance agency of the freight company completes the customs clearance, and then it is delivered to the warehouse by the truck company. The truck company needs to make an appointment in advance before delivering the goods, and can enter the warehouse only after getting the Amazon appointment number.
This mode of transportation has a long first-mile delivery time, generally more than a month. Then there is a truck to send it to Amazon, and an appointment for warehousing is required. The operation is more troublesome than express delivery, but the price is very affordable, suitable for non-urgent replenishment.
Finally, JSD Shipping recommends that customers try multiple modes of transportation at the same time to try to ensure that their products are in stock. Not only can it continue to bring you income and profits, but it also reduces transportation costs.
